The Creative Journey
On 18 August 2018, while wondering through Mitchel Rd Antiques, we came across a globe that was too difficult to pass up. This fine example is a statement piece in itself.
The lamp is made by Atlas, marked as T/2 G2 and rated at 240V, 1000W. From information that we have been able to find, the output is around 23,000 Lumens. The lamp Base is a P40s Mogul prefocus
The lamp holder is a very high-quality ceramic base with brown glaze and is manufactured by Strand Electric, England
A conceptual idea would be to make this lamp as feature and run it at low voltage.
