Luciano's Lamp

This ornate brass incense burner appears to be a genuine Indian collectable, as stamped by hand, on the bottom of the base, is "RB India 9052P".
This piece was found at an op-shop, and due to the size, was suitable to make into a lamp.
Design Influence
This lamp holds some significance, as its design was influenced by my son, Luciano whom had a design input to it as such the lamp has been named in his honour.
The conversion to a lamp was rather simple, a "one-day build", as the central hole was already available to be able to install and E27 Brass Lamp Holder, and a separate smaller hold available for attaching an additional copper clip.
A brown cloth-covered electrical wire was used together with an inline switch to complete the lamp.
The cable entry was fully insulated with two layers of heat shrink tube and fully earthed inside the lamp holder.
The lamp was first lit on 23rd September 2017.
